ChatSense launches a secure, citation-backed RAG demo for local governments—enabling AI adoption with full compliance and no upfront costs.

ChatSense, developed by KnowledgeSense, has officially launched a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) demonstration campaign aimed at empowering local governments with secure, AI-powered communication tools. This initiative provides public agencies with a free, time-limited trial of RAG technology—designed to improve information access, citizen services, and internal knowledge workflows.

The demonstration program allows municipalities to upload documents such as PDFs, Word files, and web content, which ChatSense then uses to generate intelligent, context-aware responses—each backed by clear source citations. This helps eliminate hallucinated outputs and ensures accountable AI responses, a key requirement for government entities.

To support compliance, the system includes IP address restrictions, single sign-on (SSO), and service-level agreements (SLAs). Participating institutions can test the chatbot’s performance with up to 100,000 words of input data and full security support, with zero upfront cost.

This campaign is part of KnowledgeSense’s broader vision to bring trusted, transparent AI into the public sector, enhancing digital governance while respecting procurement and data security frameworks.
